Stampin' Up! Peaceful Boughs and 'Tis the Season Peaceful Christmas Card

The holiday season is often chaotic and stressful, but why? It is the season of calm and tranquility. This year, I challenge you to slow down, do only the things that matter, give back, make new memories with your loved ones, and take time to refresh your soul. A great way to give and share peace with your loved ones is with the gift of a handmade card. Here is a perfect example made with the Peaceful Boughs Stamp Set and 'Tis the Season DSP.

Instructions for Assembly

  1. Prepare Your Cardstock: cut/trim/score all cardstock and/or DSP as described above

  2. Create the banner using Layer #3 - 'Tis the Seson DSP -- from the bottom of the paper, cut straight up from the bottom center to approximately 1/2"; then cut diagonally from the left edge up to the center; repeat on the right side

  3. Die Cuts #1: cut the large cluster of boughs from Shaded Spruce cardstock

  4. Die Cuts #2: cut the small cluster of boughs from Shaded Spruce cardstock

  5. Sentiment: use the large frame from the Beautiful Boughs dies, then stamp your sentiment

  6. Adhere Layer #2 (DSP) to Layer #1 (Whisper White)

  7. Adhere Layer #3 (banner) to Layer #2

  8. Arrange your die cut boughs, moving them around until you like the placement (I trimmed a couple of mine to get them to angle in various directions), then adhere to your card layers

  9. Adhere your sentiment with Stampin' Dimensionals

  10. Adhere all layers to the card base

  11. Stamp the Inside Layer of Whisper White with the single bough stamp in Shaded Spruce ink

  12. Adhere your inside panel to the inside of your card base

Your card is complete!
