How Did I Get My Start?

In 2016, while visiting family in Florida, I tagged along with my sister to a card class hosted by an independent Stampin' Up! demonstrator. I had no idea what to expect, but I was blown away by the quality of the products—they were far superior to anything I had been using for my scrapbooking projects.

The demonstrator did an excellent job showcasing the products, teaching us how to use them in different ways, and providing materials to create our own card. I was instantly hooked! I knew I had discovered an amazing new hobby. While the demonstrator didn’t pressure anyone to make a purchase, you can bet I placed an order right there on the spot.

All of the products—stamps, cardstock, embellishments—were superior in quality to what I’d been finding in craft stores. But what truly stood out to me were the Stampin’ Up! ink pads. Their quality was unparalleled, and I couldn’t wait to start collecting them. Of course, that quickly led to a growing stash of stamps, dies, cardstock, and more.

I'll be honest—my enthusiasm turned into a bit of an addiction! I wanted everything, so I signed up as a hobby demonstrator purely for the discount. By 2019, with a few years of crafting under my belt, I felt confident in my skills and realized I wanted to share my passion with others.

In 2020, I set a goal to transform my role as a demonstrator into a small business. By May, The Stamping Nook was officially born. Taking that leap has been one of the best decisions I’ve ever made. Through my classes, events, social media, and VIP Facebook Group, I’ve connected with so many amazing crafters. Our group is a safe and fun space where crafters can network, share projects, ask questions, and find inspiration.

Now, it’s time for you to unleash your creativity, and I’m here to help you every step of the way!
