Stampin' Up! Tag Buffet Merry Christmas Card

I am a fan of non-traditional Christmas and winter colored / themed decorations, cards, trees, etc., but nothing says “festive holiday season” quite like the traditional red and green colors.

Card Recipe

Ingredients

• Stamp Set(s): Tag Buffet

• Cardstock: Shaded Spruce, Real Red, Whisper White

• Designer Series Paper (DSP): 'Tis the Season

• Ink Pad: Tuxedo Black Memento Ink Pad

• Stampin' Blends: Mint Macaron, Real Red, Shaded Spruce

• Embellishments: Holiday Rhinestone Basic Jewels

• Adhesives: Multipurpose Liquid Glue, Stampin’ Dimensionals

Tools

• Basic Supply Kit: paper trimmer, paper snips/scissors, bone folder

Technique(s)

• Alcohol Marker Coloring / Alcohol Marker Blending

• Fussy Cutting

Cardstock Measurements

• Card Base: Shaded Spruce measuring 4 1/4" x 11" scored at 5 1/2" (vertical orientation)

• Layer 1: Real Red 5 1/4" x 4"

• DSP: 5" x 3 1/2"

• Inside Layer: Whisper White measuring 5 1/4" x 4"

• Inside DSP Layer: 1/2" x 4"

• Whisper White piece for stamping

Instructions for Assembly

1. Prepare Your Cardstock: cut/trim/score all cardstock and DSP as described above

2. Stamp two (2) ornaments/baubles, two (2) large leaf clusters, and two (2) leaf sprigs

3. Color each of your stamped images

4. Stamp the Merry Christmas sentiment

5. Fussy cut all stamped elements

6. Adhere the Real Red mat layer to the card base

7. Adhere the DSP layer to mat layer

8. Adhere the leaves, sprigs, and ornaments to the DSP

9. Adhere the sentiment with Mini Stampin' Dimensionals

10. Adorn with three (3) gold rhinestones

11. Adhere the insde Whisper White layer to the inside of the card

12. Adhere the inside DSP layer to the bottom of the Whisper White layer
