The Stampin' Up! Brushed Blooms Stamp Set and coordinating Beautiful Brushtrokes Dies offers you wonderful creative opportunities: containing stunning roses in bloom and motifs with a brushstroke-like design. With just this single stamp set, both modern and romantic looks are achievable. Additionally, sentiments celebrating friendship make yours the perfect card for many occasions. The sentiment on the front of this card -- For My Forever Friend -- can be used for a multitude of occassions. I plan to use this as a birthday card (I'll stamp a birthday sentiment on the inside and write a personal note to my friend), but another way it can be used is to show gratitude, just say hi, to tell your friend you're thinking about them, etc. It is a versatile stamp set and card.
The Brushed Blooms Stamp Set includes thes sentiments/greetings:
For My Forever Friend
Happy Birthday
Just Because
You Deserve It

Cardstock, Layers and Measurements
Card Base: Bumblebee (4 1/4" x 11" scored at 5 1/2")
Layer #1: True Love DSP (4 1/4" x 4 1/2") [for the die cut element]
Layer #2: Vellum cut with the largest Layering Circle Die (w/out scalloped border)
Layer #3 - Inside: Basic White (5 1/4" x 4")
Layer #4 - Inside Strips: two (2) of the strips from the die cut True Love DSP
Sentiment: Misty Moonlight (a scrap/small piece)
Other: Basic White for stamping and die cutting flowers and leaves
Instructions
Prepare Your Cardstock: cut/trim/score all cardstock and/or DSP as described above
Stamp two (2) of the largest flower in Magenta Madness ink on Basic White cardstock
Stamp one (1) of the smallest flower in Bumbleebee ink on Basic White cardstock
Stamp four (4) clusters of leaves in Just Jade ink on Basic White cardstock
Die cut all flowers and leaves
Use the large brushstrokes die to cut the True Love DSP; adhere the circle to your card
Die cut the circular piece of vellum with the largest Layering Circles Dies (without the scalloped edges, unless you prefer that look), but do not adhere to the card yet
Stamp the sentiment with VersaMark ink, cover in White Stampin' Emboss Powder, heat set until melted and let cool a few seconds, and, if you prefer / like the look, finish the sentiment by fussy cuting the sentiment
Arrange and place the flowers and sentiment as desired (or as pictured). NOTE: I laid everything down on the paper to get a general idea of placement; then, I adhered the flowers and leaves together with liquid glue, before the next step.
After testing placement of the vellum circle, flowers, and sentiment, adhere the vellum to the top of the True Love DSP in the middle, right (or, place in the location of your choosing), with either Seal or liquid glue. NOTE: only put adhesive in the area you know will be covered by the flowers & leaves
Adhere the flowers and leaves on top of the vellum
Adhere the sentiment to your card
Adorn the card with clear Elegant Faceted Gems if/as desired
Adhere layer #4 Basic White to the inside of your card
Adhere two (2) of the pieces of True Love DSP that came out after it was die cut to the bottom of the inside layer
