Do you struggle to use your beautiful patterned paper / Designer Series Paper (DSP)? I stare at each sheet and admire its beauty, but then comes the feeling of dread…I get too scared to cut it up! But these gorgeous papers need to be used and shared -- they're just too gorgeous to sit on our shelves. Right?
The Stampin' Up! Simply Elegant Designer Series Paper is, as the name states, elegant...super-duper elegant! It features intricately detailed patterns with metallic foil to make the designs pop! The best part: I love both sides of the patterned paper. So, for this card, I cut a piece of the paper into sections and used both sides on this card. I took the copper color from the paper and ran with it, adding copper punched sprigs and a heat embossed sentiment in copper embossing powder.

Stamping & Die Cutting:
Sentiment: Very Vanilla cardstock

Step-by-Step Instructions
Prepare Your Cardstock: cut/trim/score/burnish all cardstock as described above
Adhere Layer #1 to the card front on the left side; leave a border of about 1/8" to 1/4"
Adhere Layer #2 to the card front directly to the right of Layer #1, from the previous step
Prepare the inside cardstock layers -- first, adhere Layer #4 (Very Vanilla) on top of Layer #3 (Basic Black)
Adhere Layer #5 - Inside Strip to the bottom of Layer #4 (Very Vanilla)
Adhere the attached inside layers, from steps 4 and 5, to the inside of the card base
Punch the tag, with the Elegant Tag punch, from Very Vanilla cardstock
Apply anti-static powder, if you have it, to the sentiment tag, from the previous step
Stamp the sentiment with VersaMark WaterMark Stamp Pad on the cardstock from the previous step (for this card. NOTE: I chose a sentiment from the Pansy Patch stamp set -- use any sentiment from your stash that will fit the dimensions of the punch)
Cover the stamped sentiment with coppper embossing powder, then tap off excess powder
Heat set the embossing powder with the heat tool
Create four (4) sprigs, with the Sprig punch, from a Copper Foil Sheet
Adhere the sentiment tag to the front of the card, with Stampin' Dimensionals -- place the tag centered vertically but placed horizontally at the point where the two DSP layers touch
Arrange and adhere the sprigs to the card front, with small drops of liquid glue; tuck the sprigs under the sentiment tag
Adorn the front of the card with Champagne Rhinestone Basic Jewels
