There are times in our lives when someone has helped us in times of need. They've inspired and supported us; because they were there for us and motivated us, they deserve a note of gratitude to let them know they've made a difference in our lives. I have someone in mind for helping me through struggles I've been dealing with, so I reached for the Stampin' Up! Flowers of Friendship and the Stampin' Up! Inspired Thoughts stamp sets. This combination is perfect for sending a note of gratitude and delivering a bouquet of flowers that will never wilt.

Tools
Basic Supply Kit: paper trimmer, paper snips/scissors, bone folder, acrylic stamping blocks
Stampin' Up! Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine
Optional: Take Your Pick (the putty end makes picking up and adhering gems super easy!)
Technique(s)
Coloring with Stampin' Blends (Alcohol Markers)
Dry Embossing (Embossing Folders)
Fussy Cutting
TIP: when coloring and blending with Stampin' Blends (alcohol markers), I prefer to start with the darker shade on the areas of the stamped image with highlight lines (i.e. the vertical lines in the flower bouquet). Use either end of the marker and flick the marker from the bottom in an upwards motion. Then use the lighter shade flicking the marker from the bottom in an upwards motion -- by doing this, the colors will have an even blend. Go back over the flowers with either the light or dark markers to create color gradients that appeal to you. As you'll see, some of my flowers are darker than others -- I did that on purpose to add interest to the bouquet of flowers.

Step-by-Step Instructions
Prepare Your Cardstock: cut/trim/score all paper as described above
Stamp two flower bouquets, from the Flowers of Friendship stam set, in Memento Tuxedo Black on Basic White cardstock
Color the flowers with Flirty Flamingo Stampin' Blends (see tip above)
Color the leaves with Just Jade Stampin' Blends (see tip above)
Fussy cut the flower bouquets with snips
Adhere Layer #1 - DSP to the front of the card base
Run Layer #2 - Just Jade cardstock through the die cutting machine with the Ornate Floral 3D embossing folder
Adhere the embossed layer to the top of the DSP layer
Punch the ovals from Basic White cardstock with the Double Oval Punch
Stamp the sentiment from the Inspired Thoughts stamp set on the smaller oval in Just Jade ink
Arrange the flower bouquets as desired. I brought the stems of the bouquets together at the bottom and trimmed off a couple leaves to create the look of a single bouquet. I adhered the two stems at the bottom with liquid glue.
Adhere the flower bouquets to the front of the cardbase. Use liquid glue for the flowers you want adhered directly to the card and add Mini Stampin' Dimensionals to several flowers you want to pop up.
Adhere the small oval to the larger, scalloped edged, oval with Stampin' Dimensionals
Adhere the ovals to the front of the card with the adhesive of your choice
Adorn the bouquet of flowers with Basic Pearls
Adorn the bouquet of flowers with a white bow from the Baker's Twine Essentials Pack (I folded a long string of twine together, andtied them into a bow creating the look of a double bow); adhere to the flowers with Mini Glue Dots
Adhere Layer #3 - Inside: Basic White to the inside of the card
Adhere Layer #4 - Inside Strip of DSP on top of the Basic White layer, at the bottom, with the adhesive of your choice
The card is complete!
