Stampin' Up! Butterfly Bijou DSP and Itty Bitty Birthdays Card - Use Your DSP Series

We all do it -- we hoard our Designer Series Paper (patterned paper). It's time to clear out some of that paper and put it to good use because it is too beautiful to sit filed away in a folder or on a shelf. This card spotlights how beautiful the Butterfly Bijou DSP is and how it makes a handmade card shine.

Instructions

The steps below describe how I adhered the panels on the front of the card, but adhere them in the order that works best for you

  1. Prepare Your Cardstock: cut/trim/score all cardstock and/or DSP as described above

  2. Die cut the sheet of Butterfly Bijou DSP that aligns to the large butterfly die

  3. Stamp the sentiment in Memento Tuxedo Black in on Panel # 6 - Sentiment (white)

  4. Adhere the Natural Touch Specialty DSP, Panel #3, in the center of the card

  5. Adhere the Butterfly Bijou DSP, Panel #4, centered on top of the Natural Touch Specialty DSP (Panel #3)

  6. Adhere the side panels, #1 and #2, on the left and right side of the DSP panels, approximately 1/8" in towards the center from the left and the right

  7. Adhere Panels #5 (Magenta Madness) and #6 (Sentiment) together; center the sentiment layer on top of the Magenta Madness layer

  8. Adhere two die cut butterflies to the top of the sentiment & Magenta Madness layers -- one on the top right and the other on the bottom left

  9. Next, adhere the layers with butterflies in the center of the card (centered from left & right and top & bottom) with Stampin' Dimensionals. NOTE: you may need to double up the dimensionals to the top right butterfly to keep it at the same height/dimension as the cardstock

  10. Adhere a third butterfly in the lower right corner of the front of the card

  11. Embellish the front of the card with Artistry Blooms Adhesive-Backed Sequins

  12. Adhere Panels #7 (white) and #8 (DSP) together -- place the DSP on the left side of the white cardstock

  13. Adhere the the inside panel (white & DSP from step 8) to the inside of the card
