This is a must-have stamp set for anyone who loves to color -- be it watercoloring,
blending with alcohol markers (such as Stampin' Blends), colored pencils, watercolor pencils, using sponge daubers, and so on...whichever medium and technique you like best, the Stampin' Up! Color & Contour Stamp Set is for you! If you aren't keen on coloring, then you'll love the two-step stamps -- the open-line floral art and abstract filler stamps allows for a range of creative options. For this card, I kept it simple and used the two-step stamping process.
Card Tutorial

Dies: Scalloped Contours Dies
Ink Pads: Basic Gray, Evening Evergreen, Fresh Freesia, Polished Pink
Cardstock: Thick Basic White, Basic White, Polished Pink
Embellishments: Elegant Faceted Gems
Adhesives: Multipurpose Liquid Glue, Stampin' Dimensionals
Other: Pencil, Eraser (such as the Pentel Hi-Polymer Eraser)
Tools
Basic Supply Kit: paper trimmer, paper snips/scissors, bone folder, acrylic stamping blocks
Stampin' Up! Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine (SUCE*)
Optional: Take Your Pick (the putty end makes picking up and adhering gems super easy!)
Optional: low tack tape for holding dies in place when running them through the SUCE, such as washi tape or, my absolute favorite, "Spellbinders - Best Ever Craft Tape" (yes, that is what it is named; it can be found from various online shops)
*SUCE (noun, homophone) / soo-kee): the abbrevivated, short-hand name for the Stampin' Up! Cut and Emboss machine. The term SUCE was invented by Barry and Jay of Mitosu Crafts (check out their amazing YouTube videos); the term SUCE was inspired by their cat named Sukie (also pronounced soo-kee, thus creating the homophone) =)
Cardstock Measurements
Step-by-Step Instructions
Prepare Your Cardstock: cut/trim/score all paper as described above
Place the scalloped border die approximately 1/4" to 3/8" vertically down the left edge on the long edge of Layer #1 Polished Pink cardstock
Run the Polished Pink cardstock through the die cutting machine
Stamp three outline floral stemp stamps in Evening Evergreen on your Basic White cardstock reserved for stamping & die cutting
Stamp two of the floral stems with the filler stamp in Fresh Freesia ink
Stamp the remaining floral stem with the filler stamp in Polished Pink ink
Die cut the three floral stems
On Basic White (Layer #2), arrange the floral stems in a staggered manner, from the top right down towards the left half of the cardstock (or an arrangement that appeals to you.
Draw a small pencil mark at the top of each floral stem, to mark the location where you want them placed; then draw a pencil line where you want the stamped leaves to be placed. See photo below for an example showing where the pencil marks were placed for this card)
Move the floral stems off the cardstock and stamp the leaf images at the place you marked with Evening Evergreen ink
Adhere the top right floral stem at the place you marked directly to the cardstock with the adhesive of your choice
Adhere the left floral stem at the place you marked directly to the cardstock with Stampin' Dimensionals
Adhere the middle floral stem at the place you marked -- apply liquid glue or Stampin' Seal to adhere the top portion of the middle stem to the top portioin of the left stem and apply Stampin' Dimensioinals (Mini or cut/trimmed regular Stampin' Dimensionals); then adhere the middle stem to t he card
Stamp the sentiment ("Here For You Now" or the sentiment of your choice) in Basic Gray ink below the floral stems, towards the bottom right corner of the Basic White cardstock (Layer #2)
Adhere the Polished Pink cardstock (Layer #1) to the front of the card base
Adhere the Basic White cardstock (Layer #2), with the floral stems and sentiment, to the Polished Pink cardstock (Layer #1)
Stamp the leaf images along the bottom of the inside of the card
Stamp the inside sentiment ("And In Better Days Ahead") to the center of the inside of the card base (optional, depending on the sentiment used on the front of the card)
Adorn the front of the card with pearlescent white Elegant Faceted Gems
The project is complete!
