Stampin' Up! Color & Contour Thank You Card in the Lovely Pale Papaya

Express your artistic talents with the Stampin' Up! Color & Contour Stamp Set and Scalloped Contours Dies. The stamps are designed so the filler stamp doesn't completely color in the outline stamp, creating a unique look every time. Fill the outline image with ink at full strenght or, for a softer look, stamp off first. This is a bundle with many options for expressing your creativity.

Card Tutorial

Ingredients

• Stamp Set: Color & Contour

• Dies: Scalloped Contours Dies

• Ink Pads: Old Olive, Pumpkin Pie, Calypso Coral

• Cardstock: Basic White, Pale Papaya

• Embellishments: Elegant Faceted Gems (clear)

• Adhesives: Stampin' Seal / Seal + or other adhesive tape runner, Multipurpose Liquid Glue, Stampin' Dimensionals

Tools

• Basic Supply Kit: paper trimmer, paper snips/scissors, bone folder, acrylic stamping blocks

• Stampin' Up! Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine (SUCE = sookie)

• Low tack tape for holding dies in place when running them through the SUCE, such as washi tape or, my absolute favorite, "Spellbinders - Best Ever Craft Tape" (yes, that is what it is named; it can be found from various online shops)

• Optional: Take Your Pick (the putty end makes picking up and adhering gems super easy!)

Techniques

• Two-Step Stamping

• Generation Stamping (Stamping Off)

Cardstock Measurements (Imperial)

• Card Base: Pale Papaya 5 1/2" x 8 1/2" scored at 4 1/4"

• Layer #1: Pale Papaya measuring 5 1/2" x 4 1/4"

• Sentiment: Basic White measuring approximately 1 ¾" x 2 1/4"

• Stamping & Die Cutting: Basic White

Step-by-Step Instructions

1. Prepare Your Cardstock: cut/trim/score/burnish all cardstock as described above

2. Stamp 4-5 leaf images in Pale Papaya ink in various locations on Layer #1 Pale Papaya cardstock, creating a border in which your flowers will be centered

3. Stamp two flowers with the outline image in Calypso Coral ink on Basic White cardstock

4. Stamp the filler image on the flowers in Calypso Coral ink at full strength (feel free to take creative liberty and stamp one at full strength and the other in 2nd generation [stamped off])

5. Stamp two flowers with the outline image in Pumpkin Pie ink on Basic White cardstock

6. Stamp the filler image on one of the flowers in Pumpkin Pie ink at full strength

7. Stamp the second outline flower image in 2nd generation/stamped off Pumpkin Pie ink

8. Stamp one outline flower in Old Olive ink

9. Stamp the filler image in 2nd generation/stamped off Old Olive ink

10. Die cut the Basic White sentiment layer with the smallest Scalloped Contours Dies rectangular frames

11. Stamp the sentiment on the right side of the sentiment layer

12. Arrange the Calypso Coral and Pumpkin Pie flowers on the card as desired and adhere with liquid glue or adhesive tape runner

13. Adhere the sentiment to the front of the card with Stampin’ Dimensionals

14. Adhere the Old Olive flower to the left side of the sentiment layer with Stampin’ Dimensionals
