I can't say enough about the Simply Elegant Suite and I highly recommend the entire suite to everyone. When you see the products -- the stamp set, punch, and DSP -- you can't help but say the word "elegant" because it is just that...SIMPLY ELEGANT! The Elegantly Said Stamp Set features elegant script-styled greetings that pair perfectly with the stately floral, flourish, and border images. Then, add the Simply Elegant DSP and every project results in gorgeousness. These products are perfect for beginner crafters and avid crafters alike. Cards can be made simple and...here comes the word again...elegantly understated or they can be stepped up for more...and again...elegance!

Cardstock Measurements
Card Base: Thick Very Vanilla measuring 5 1/2" x 8 1/2" scored at 4 1/4"
Layer #1: DSP measuring 5 1/4" x 2 1/2"
Layer #2: DSP measuring 5 1/4" x 1 1/2"
Layer #3 - Inside Strip: DSP measuring 5 1/2" x 1 5/8" (you should have this from an offcut of the DSP; you can also use a strip measuring 5 1/2" x 1 3/4")
Stamping & Punching: Very Vanilla measuring 3 3/4" x 1 3/4"
Stamping Sentiment: Very Vanilla 1 3/4" x 1 1/2"
TIP: when heat embossing, you will want a clean surface on your cardstock -- free of static, oils from hands, and to clear small debris; to do this, rub an anti-static pouch (such as the anti-Static Pouch by Ranger Ink) over your cardstock before applying the stamp with embossing ink; after heat embossing, use a cloth (such as a microfiber cloth), to wipe the surface of the cardstock to clear away any remaining anti-static powder
Step-by-Step Instructions
Prepare Your Cardstock: cut/trim/score all paper as described above
Punch both ends of the stamping & punching cardstock {Very Vanilla measuring 3 3/4" x 1 3/4") with the Elegant Tag using only the top end of the punch (see photos below for a description on how to punch both ends of the cardstock using a single side of the punch)
Stamp the flowers image in VersaMark WaterMark Stamp Pad (embossing ink) on the Very Vanilla cardstock from step 2 [see tip above for instructions to prepare your cardstock for heat embossing]
Cover the embossed image in Gold embossing powder and heat set with a heat tool
Stamp the sentiment on the Very Vanilla 1 3/4" x 1 1/2" cardstock
Fussy cut the sentiment
Wrap the gold Simply Elegant Trim around the larger sheet of DSP (Layer #1), securing the trim in place on the back of the DSP with Stampin' Seal+ (or Tear & Tape)
Adhere DSP Layer #1 from step 7 to the front of the card base, approximately 1/8" from the top edge (note: this card is in the horizontal orientation)
Adhere DSP Layer #2 below DSP Layer #1 (they may overlap a bit); place the DSP approximately 1/8" from the bottom edge of the card base
Adhere the punched layer to the card with Stampin' Dimensionals
Adhere the sentiment to the card with Mini Stampin' Dimensionals (or, cut regular Stampin' Dimensionals into smaller pieces)
Adhere the DSP Strip (Layer #3) to the bottom edge of the inside card base
Adorn the front of the card with the gold Gilded Gems
TIP: many punches feature different designs on each end of the punch--it is possible to punch both ends of your cardstock using only one end of the punch to create matching punched ends on your cardstock. See photos below.
The card project is complete!

Your Feedback, Thoughts, & Suggestions
It would be great to hear from you on any topic that's on your mind. I do not have to be your primary demonstrator or even one of your usual go-to resources for inspiration, tips, advice, etc., It would be very beneficial if I can hear from you on any crafting-related topic imaginable.
What are your favorite types of cards?
Do you want to see more fun-folds?
Do you want to see more gift packaging?
Do you want to see how I use Stampin' Up! supplies for scrapbooking and memory keeping?
What are the top 3 things you admire most about your favorite crafters (I'd really love to hear this!!!!).
Do you have a love-hate relationship with adhesives?
Do your cards stand the test of time or do they tend to fall flat?
Tell me your pain-points and I will help (or assemble of team of crafters who can come together to help). If you're thinking it or struggling with it, it's a given that someone else is facing the same challenge. Let's help everyone.
