  • Stampin' Pierce Mat or Stamparatus Foam Mat for stamping photopolymer (clear/acrylic) stamps (optional but recommended for clear, crisp impressions)

Technique(s)

Cardstock Measurements

  • Card Base: Basic Gray (5 1/2" x 8 1/2" scored at 4 1/4")

  • Ink Blended Layer: White (5 1/4" x 4")

  • Rectangular Border Die Cut: White (5 1/4" x 4")

  • Succulent Background Die: White (5 1/4" x 4")

  • Stamping & Trimming: White for sentiment

Instructions

  1. Prepare your cardbase as described above

  2. With the blending brush, blend Magenta Madness ink on the white cardstock creating an ombre effect (darker application at the top while blending lighter towards the bottom). NOTE: this cardstock is oversized and will be trimmed down in a later step

  3. Use the first and second largest stitched rectangle dies together to create a die cut frame from the white (5 1/4" x 4") cardstock. TIP: you can die cut both dies together at the same time; use low tack tape to put them into place

  4. Run the succulent background die through the die cutting machine on white (5 1/4" x 4")

  5. Adhere the rectangular frame and succulent background cut together; trim some of the edges if there is any overlap

  6. Adhere the framed background to the ink blended cardstock (again, trim some of the edges if there is any overlap)

  7. Adhere the combined layers to the Basic Gray card base

  8. Stamp the "Happy" sentiment from the Pretty Perennials stamp set on white cardstock in Magenta Madness ink

  9. Stamp the "Birthday" sentiment from the Pretty Perennials stamp set on white cardstock in Basic Gray ink

  10. Trim both sentiments and adhere together

  11. Create a double loop bow with the white twine and adhere to the front of the card

  12. Adhere the sentiment on top of the bow with Stampin' Dimensionals

I WANT TO HEAR FROM YOU

Your Feedback, Thoughts, & Suggestions

It would be great to hear from you on any topic that's on your mind. I do not have to be your primary demonstrator or even one of your usual go-to resources for inspiration, tips, advice, etc., It would be very beneficial if I can hear from you on any crafting-related topic imaginable.

  • What are your favorite types of cards?

  • Do you want to see more fun-folds?

  • Do you want to see more gift packaging?

  • Do you want to see how I use Stampin' Up! supplies for scrapbooking and memory keeping?

  • What are the top 3 things you admire most about your favorite crafters (I'd really love to hear this!!!!).

  • Do you have a love-hate relationship with adhesives?

  • Do your cards stand the test of time or do they tend to fall flat?

Tell me your pain-points and I will help (or assemble of team of crafters who can come together to help). If you're thinking it or struggling with it, it's a given that someone else is facing the same challenge. Let's help everyone.
