Stampin' Up! continues to go above and beyond expectations and the Art Gallery Suite, featuring the Art Gallery Stamp Set and Floral Gallery Dies, is a prime example of their ability to not only achieve but also go above and beyond expectations. It might interest you to know that these images are derived from the artwork created from scratch by the amazingly talented Stampin' Up! artists. Everything from the designer series paper (patterned paper) to the stamps are created to replicate the artistic masterpieces the artists designed. (I will feature the DSP in coming projects!)
This is the first of many (many!) cards to come featuring these products. I started with something rather simple, focusing on the two-step floral stamps and the magnificent 3D embossing folder. Even in its simplest form, the cards featuring a few components of this suite create striking cards that will delight the recipient.
Have a look for yourself:
Card Recipe

Dies: Floral Dies
Cardstock: White, Bermuda Bay
Ink Pads: Pool Party, Coastal Cabana, Pear Pizzazz
Stampin' Blends: Pool Party (to color pearls)
Embossing Folder: Painted Texture 3D
Embellishments/Ribbon: Pearl Basic Jewels
Adhesives: Multipurpose Liquid Glue, Stampin' Dimensionals, Stampin' Seal
* The "A Touch of Ink" stamp set is currently offered in the January - February 2021 Sale-a-Bration promotional catalog. I used a sentiment from the stamp set but you can opt for the sentiment of your choice, from your stash
Tools
Basic Supply Kit: paper trimmer, paper snips/scissors, bone folder
Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine
Blending Brush
Deluxe Foam Mat for the Stamparatus (optional)
Take Your Pick (optional)
TIP: because photopolymer stamps don't have a natural cushion, using the foam mat (or piercing mat) provides sufficient cushioning to achieve the perfect stamped impression
Technique(s)
Two-Step Stamping
Cardstock Layers and Measurements
Card Base: Bermuda Bay measuring 4 1/4" x 11" scored at 5 1/5" (vertical tent card)
Layer #1: White measuring 5 1/4" x 4"
Inside Layer: White measuring 5 1/4" x 4"
Flowers & Sentiment: you will need white cardstock to create your flowers, stemps, and sentiment
Instructions for Assembly
Prepare Your Cardstock: cut/trim/score all cardstock and/or DSP as described above
Use your blending brush (or sponge, dauber, brayer) to add ink to the front of the Painted Texture 3D embossing folder with Coastal Cabana ink. NOTE: a light covering will work -- the goal is to ensure the crevices of the folder are inked rather than making the entire folder completely covered in ink
Run the embossing folder and layer #1 white cardstock through the Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine and watch the magic happen! :-)
On white cardstock, stamp the base layer of the two-step floral stamps with the Pool Party ink (repeat to create two flowers)
On white cardstock, stamp the top layer of the two-step floral stamps with the Coastal Cabana ink
On white cardstock, stamp the stem of leaves with Pear Pizzazz ink
Die cut your flowers and stems
Adhere Layer #1 (embossed cardstock) to the front of the Bermuda Bay card base
Assemble / arrange your flowers as desired and adhere to Layer #1
Stamp the sentiment on white cardstock and fussy cut
Adhere the sentiment to the front of the card
Color the pearls with the Pool Party Stampin' Blends (I used the dark marker)
Adhere the pearls to the front of your card
Adhere the final White panel to the inside of your card base; decorate with stamps (or DSP) as desired (I used a small floral image from the Art Gallery Stamp Set -- I stamped one flower in Pool Party on both the bottom left and right corners), then overlapped the same floral stamp with Coastal Cabana ink)
