INSTRUCTIONS FOR ASSEMBLY
Prepare Your Cardstock
Cut/trim/score all cardstock and DSP as described above
Stamping
Stamp the sentiment from the Country Home stamp set on the 4-5/8” x 3-3/8” piece of Whisper White Cardstock near the top of the cardstock
Stamp the jug from the Country Home stamp set in Memento Tuxedo Black ink
Carefully stamp the floral bouquet featuring the cotton stems in Memento Tuxedo Black ink at the top of the jug stamp so the flowers appear to be coming out of the jug
Coloring
Color your stamped image to your taste. Here is how I colored the jug and flowers:
Color the jug with both the light and dark crumb cake Stampin’ Blends alcohol markers, adding shadows with the darker marker on the left and right edges of the jug
Color the rest of the jug using the light Crumb Cake Stampin’ Blends alcohol marker
Use the Color Lifter marker in the center of the jug to blend the colors together and reduce the intensity of the color, making the shading on the left and right more prominent
Color the greenery/leaves using the Just Jade Stampin’ Blends marker
Color the berries with the dark Cajun Craze Stampin’ Blends marker
Color the small flower with the Daffodil Delight Stampin’ Blends marker
Color the round florals with the Bronze Stampin’ Blends marker (if the color is too dark, use the Color Lifter marker to lighten it up)
Putting it All Together
Adhere the first layer panel (the DSP) to the card base using the adhesive of your choice
Adhere the second layer panel (Cajun Craze) to the first layer panel
Adhere the third (top) layer panel (the stamped & colored Whisper White cardstock) to the top of the second layer panel
Optional: adhere the final piece of Whisper White (5 ¼” x 4”) to the inside of the card
Optional: decorate an envelope for that extra special touch
The project is complete!
