it is both my pleasure and honor to accept the invitation to join the Casually Crafting Design Team. I am excited to show you a project each month that isn’t overly complex and requires minimal supplies The projects I intend to share will guide you through the creative process on your journey to learn techniques that are not only simple but also pack a powerful creative punch.
I‘ve created my first card for the Casually Crafting Design Team and blog hop to demonstrate the concept of simple stamping. The premise is just as the name reflects — it is possible to create beautiful cards with limited supplies. All you need are basic tools, stamps, ink, and paper. As you will see, this card is simple and simultaneously beautiful. The card is sure to please and delight the recipient!

Cardstock Layers and Measurements
Instructions
Prepare Your Cardstock: cut/trim/score all cardstock and/or DSP as described above
Stamp the hydrangea flower with Just Jade ink on the top layer of white card stock (Layer #2)
Stamp the stem and leaves with the filler stamp in Mint Macaron ink
To stamp the filler image over the flowers, ink up the stamp in Rococo Rose ink, lightly stamp the image once on scrap paper, then stamp the second generation over the flowers. This creates a subtle shade of color. NOTE: these stamps are purposely designed to overlap the outline stamp to create an imperfectly perfect visual effect.
Stamp the sentiment (aka greeting) on the same layer of white card stock (Layer #2) in Rococo Rose ink
Adhere Layer #2 (white with stamped images and sentiment) to Layer #1 (DSP) with Stampin’ Dimensionals
Adhere the combined layers from step 6 to the card base with Stampin’ Seal or the adhesive of your choice
Adhere Layer #3 (white) to the inside of the card base
Adhere Layer #4 (small strip of DSP) to the bottom of Layer #3
Your project is now complete. Best of all, it took little time to create a great card!
