ASSEMBLY

  • Cut/trim/score all cardstock and DSP as described above

  • Fold and burnish all score lines

Putting it All Together

  1. Prepare your sentiment cardstock (Basic Gray used on this project) for heat embossing--rub an embossing powder tool (such as the retired embossing buddy, a dryer sheet, or other brand powder tool)

  2. Stamp the greeting of your choice on a piece of cardstock the using Versamark Embossing Ink Pad

  3. Apply the white embossing powder; tap off excess

  4. Using a heat tool, start by heating the backside of the paper. When the heat tool warms up, place the heat over the stamped and embossed sentiment until the embossing powder has completely melted and turned to solid white

  5. Cut/Trim/Punch your sentiment using the die/punch that suits your sentiment. The sentiment on this card was die cut from a frame in the Tasteful Labels Dies set

  6. Gauge the placement of your front flap panel -- centered top/bottom and left/right -- and adhere half of the panel to the left flap panel of the card

  7. Embellish your card, if desired, with pearls or other embellishments
