This card was designed for The Spot Challenge #128. The color challenge required use of Merry Merlot, Bumblebee, Crumb Cake and any type of metal. I reached for one of my favorite nature stamp sets — Rooted in Nature is one of my favorite stamp sets because the beautiful nature elements and its versatility -- it can be used for all occasions.
This card feautres a a gold hoop with the leaf elements -- I was aiming for a wreath-like arrangement. The very vanilla mat layer embossed with the Tasteful Textiles 3D to add another layer of dimension to the card. The sentiment came from the Banner Year stamp set.
The card may appear to be difficult to create but in actuality, it is quite simple. The majority of the work is die cutting followed by channeling your inner floral designer to arrange the leaves around the gold hoop embellishment.
